These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through Maritime Sports Cards. By placing an order through our website, you agree to these terms.
Hockey Card Breaks
Maritime Sports Cards offers spots in live hockey card breaks. When you purchase a break spot, you are purchasing participation in the specified break and not a particular card, player, team, or guaranteed value unless the product description specifically states otherwise.
The products included, break format, price, scheduled date and other details will be described on the applicable break page.
Team Allocation
Teams are assigned according to the format described for the individual break.
For breaks using randomized team assignments, teams will be randomized as part of the break process. Purchasing multiple spots does not guarantee particular teams or cards.
Once teams have been assigned, the results of the randomization are final except where an obvious technical or administrative error has occurred.
Cards From Breaks
Cards pulled during a break are distributed according to the team represented on the card unless different rules are stated for that particular break.
For cards featuring multiple teams or players from multiple teams, Maritime Sports Cards will determine the recipient using the rules announced for that break or, when necessary, a fair randomization process.
If a card does not clearly correspond to an NHL team, Maritime Sports Cards will use a reasonable method to determine its appropriate recipient.
No Guaranteed Hits or Value
Purchasing a break spot does not guarantee that you will receive a specific card, autograph, memorabilia card, numbered card, rookie card, “hit,” or cards of any particular monetary value.
Trading cards are products of chance. The contents of sealed boxes and packs are determined by the manufacturer and are outside the control of Maritime Sports Cards.
Manufacturer-stated odds, checklists and product configurations are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and may change.
Live Breaks and Recordings
Breaks may be livestreamed and/or recorded, including through platforms such as YouTube.
Break recordings may remain publicly available after the live event. Customer payment information is not intentionally displayed during the livestream.
Break Dates and Scheduling
We make reasonable efforts to conduct breaks at the date and time advertised. Break dates or times may occasionally need to change because of circumstances such as product delays, technical problems, weather, illness or other events beyond our reasonable control.
If a break must be rescheduled, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected participants.
Product Availability
Break spots and other products are subject to availability.
Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it. A purchase is confirmed when checkout and payment have been successfully completed.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing, inventory or product-description errors. If an error materially affects an order that has already been placed, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate resolution.
Payments
Prices displayed on the website are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
Payments are processed through our authorized payment processor. Orders are not considered confirmed until payment has been successfully processed.
Applicable taxes will be charged where required.
Order Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing, contact and shipping information when placing an order.
Maritime Sports Cards is not responsible for delays or delivery problems resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

Shipping
Where physical cards or products are shipped, customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Delivery estimates are estimates only. Carrier delays and other shipping circumstances outside our reasonable control may occur.
If an order arrives damaged, is missing items, or you believe you received the wrong items, please contact us promptly so that we can investigate.
Cancellations, Refunds and Returns
Eligibility for cancellations, refunds and returns is governed by our Refunds & Returns Policy.
Because hockey card break spots relate to a scheduled event and allocations may be finalized before a break begins, different cancellation rules may apply to break spots than to ordinary physical merchandise.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
Website Use
You agree not to misuse our website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, engage in fraudulent transactions, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
We may cancel or refuse orders where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, unauthorized payment activity, an obvious pricing or inventory error, or misuse of our website.
Intellectual Property
The Maritime Sports Cards name, branding, logo, original website content, graphics and other original materials belonging to Maritime Sports Cards may not be reproduced or used commercially without permission.
Third-party trademarks, product names, team names and logos remain the property of their respective owners.
Third-Party Services
Our website may use or link to third-party services such as payment processors, shipping providers, YouTube and eBay.
Use of those services may also be subject to the applicable third party’s own terms and policies.
Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Maritime Sports Cards is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including manufacturer errors, carrier delays, internet or livestream interruptions, third-party service outages, or other events beyond our control.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version posted on this website at the time of purchase will apply to that transaction unless applicable law requires otherwise.
